What already exists, for every family
Before any partnership, the essentials are there: free, on iPhone and Android, in French, English and German.
The app, for every household
An evacuation bag for each member, water and food supplies, a meeting point and its route, a printable family plan, an SOS that alerts the household. Short missions, no jargon, no scare tactics.
Public information, with its source and time
In France: Météo-France warnings in mainland France, Vigicrues flood warnings, earthquakes. Elsewhere: official weather warnings via MeteoAlarm in Belgium, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain, and severe warnings from the US National Weather Service. LASTLINE relays this information and points to official channels; it never replaces official alerts or emergency numbers.
Practical, sourced guides
Floods, wildfires, weather warnings, evacuation, power cuts: our guides are free and cite their official sources. See the guides
A workshop: "Prepare your household to last 72 hours"
Run by Tony Corva, founder of LASTLINE. Participants start their plan on the spot, with or without the app. Free for French municipalities during the pilot; for other organisations, the terms are agreed together.
A free pilot, designed for French public services
In France, every exposed municipality publishes a risk information document (DICRIM) that says what to do; LASTLINE helps each household prepare for it. The pilot lasts 6 to 12 months, under an agreement approved by the municipal council, with no payment, no exclusivity and no purchase commitment. Outside France? Write to us: the pilot is built on French law, and we would adapt it with you.
The instructions from your DICRIM and, if you wish, the assembly points of your municipal safeguard plan, approved by your services (built with your municipality during the pilot).
How many households joined the pilot or prepared their bag, never below 10 households. No names, no addresses, no locations.
No commercial offer goes through the municipality's materials, and none is made to the municipality during the pilot.
Prevention, down to the last link: the household
According to France Assureurs, the French insurance federation, claims caused by natural events could reach €143 billion in total between 2020 and 2050, 93% more than between 1989 and 2019. The same study sees prevention and a wider culture of natural risk as key assets for the country's resilience.
These tools equip the town hall. LASTLINE works at the other end of the chain: the family, who needs to know what to do at home.
Training elected officials and staff matters. LASTLINE then gives residents a concrete plan, household by household.
A DICRIM's instructions can live in the app, readable without network, once approved by the municipality (built with the municipality during a pilot).
A path for your insured customers
A link and a code specific to your network, so your customers join LASTLINE of their own free will, and prevention messages that you approve.
Totals for your prevention report
How many households prepared their bag, set a meeting point or printed their plan. Totals only, never below 10 households.
Action on the ground
The "72 hours" workshop with your representatives or in your branches, and materials you can share yourselves.
What you never receive
Continuity starts at home
A flood, a storm or a long power cut also strikes your employees' families. Someone who knows who collects the children and where the family meets stays available for the rest. LASTLINE extends your information efforts into the home, on a voluntary basis.
Sourced guides and a workshop to carry information into the home. LASTLINE replaces neither your risk assessment nor your internal instructions. Elsewhere, local rules apply: we look at them with you.
A family plan settles in advance the questions that weigh most on the day: who picks up the children, where to meet, how to get through a few days.
An offer for your employees and their families
A link and a code specific to your company. Everyone chooses whether to join LASTLINE, and can leave at any time.
Workshops on site or remotely
"Prepare your household to last 72 hours", adapted to your sites and working hours.
Totals for your report
For your prevention approach or your sustainability report: totals only, never below 10 households.
What the employer never receives
The same rules for every partner
SOS, alerts, the evacuation plan and route, the meeting point, the online map of loved ones. An optional paid offer, Lastline+, is in preparation: we prefer to tell you now.
No figure below 10 households, no individual data, during and after the partnership.
Each family chooses to join your organisation's path, and can leave at any time.
LASTLINE remains the sole controller of its users' data, within the meaning of the GDPR.
Database hosted in Paris (Supabase, eu‑west‑3 region).
LASTLINE complements official alerts, sirens and instructions from the authorities, and never replaces them. In an emergency, call your local emergency number (112 in Europe).
Six questions to ask any provider, and our answers
Ask them of every solution you compare, us included. Here are our answers, in writing.
We write it on every page: what exists is described, and what remains to be done is marked "to be built with you".
Totals only, never below 10 households. Never a name, an address or a location.
LASTLINE, for the app. If your organisation one day wanted to send its own messages, a different written framework would be needed, in which it would become the controller and LASTLINE its processor.
The database is in Paris (Supabase, eu‑west‑3 region). Other providers are involved for some functions, such as sending notifications.
Everything that protects: SOS, alerts, the evacuation plan and route, the meeting point, the online map of loved ones. An optional paid offer, Lastline+, is in preparation.
